I'm a second-year master's student at the Missouri School of Journalism, graduating in May 2012.

Although I now call the Midwest home, I grew up in Nevada. Most recently, I'm from Orange County, Calif., where I earned a bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing.

In addition to my current role at the Missourian, I've been a reporter, copy editor and assistant news editor. I've also been a reporter and afternoon news anchor for KBIA radio.
