Katie Yaeger's Profile

Born and raised in Atlanta, Katie is a junior at MU majoring in print and digital journalism with an emphasis in news editing. She's minoring in business and psychology and working toward honors and multicultural certificates.

Katie was an education reporter in Spring 2013. She will return to the Missourian in the fall as a copy editor. This summer, she is a copy editing intern at the Orange County Register in California.

Before working for the Missourian, Katie worked as a copy editor for Newsy.com in Columbia in Summer 2012. She also worked for The Maneater, MU's student newspaper, in different capacities, most recently in Fall 2012 as one of its copy chiefs.

Katie's also involved with MU's Writing Center, Relay For Life of Mizzou, Alternative Winter Break and ambassador programs in the School of Journalism and the Honors College.

In her free time, she loves spending time with friends, watching comedies and drinking anything caffeinated.
