Madeline O'Leary's Profile
Madeline O'Leary is reporting at the Missourian as of 2012 and 2013. She is currently a junior double-majoring in journalism and economics at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and her interest in economic policy has led her to report on economic development initiatives and city politics.
Last Spring she reported heavily on developments surrounding the Enhanced Enterprise Zone program. She has also been known to report on gender issues, food trucks and Australian chocolatiers.
Madeline previously interned at the Thomson Reuters news bureau in Brussels, Belgium, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Columbia Business Times.
Over the years, Madeline has developed a crippling caffeine addiction and a love for literature and film. Madeline recently learned how to knit, but is not yet skilled at the craft. Gloves are not a possibility, only scarves.
