Matt Harris's Profile
Currently, I'm an editorial assistant on the Missourian's sports desk. I edit stories and help produce the daily section in various capacities. While I'm no longer a regular contributor, I occasionally do longer-term projects.
I'm in my fifth year at the paper. I started out covering the city government beat for about two years and went on to do stints as an assistant city editor, copy editor, designer, assistant news editor, and finally to my current gig. In between, I was an intern for The Kansas City Star and the Orange County (Calif.) Register in its Washington, D.C., bureau.
