Michelle Hagopian's Profile
Michelle is a junior journalism major from Granite City, Ill., a suburb of St. Louis. She is studying print and digital news and is pursuing a minor in women’s and gender studies.
Last semester, Michelle reported for the education beat at the Missourian and now writes for the sports beat. She was a staff writer for The Maneater, MU’s student newspaper, during her freshman year. In the summer of 2007, she was an intern for the Suburban Journals and wrote for her hometown newspaper, the Granite City Press Record. She was also editor-in-chief of her high school newspaper.
Michelle is a sports fan and enjoys watching her favorite professional and college teams, as well as playing golf and basketball in her free time. She also loves music, books and movies.
