Mary Poletti's Profile
Mary Poletti is a second-year graduate student at the Missouri School of Journalism. She has reported on the Missourian's faith beat since August 2008 and is eager to tell mid-Missouri's stories of religion and spirituality in everyday life. Prior to beginning work on her master's degree at MU, she worked in communications at a small Christian nonprofit organization in St. Louis and reported on small-town government for a trio of community newspapers in her native southwestern Illinois. Mary holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from Westminster College in Fulton, where she held a variety of reporting and editing positions with the campus newspaper and political magazine, and considers mid-Missouri a second home. She enjoys photography, reading and cheering on her St. Louis Cardinals.
