Shaina Cavazos's Profile

Shaina is a junior graduating in December 2012 from MU. This semester, she is the assistant city editor for the education section. She works with reporters to edit stories, assign stories and generally help manage the newsroom. Her biggest project this year was overseeing and planning the Columbia Public Schools Board of Education elections.

Last semester, she was a copy editor and a member of the community outreach team. When Shaina is not in the newsroom, she spends time with her equally journalism-obsessed friends, teaches Sunday School at Congregation Beth Shalom and gives tours of the Missouri School of Journalism.
