Effie Grace Craver

Although she was due on Dec. 8, Effie Grace Craver waited until Dec. 11 to enter the world.
She was born at 11:59 a.m., weighing 8 pounds. She is the third child of Kirsten and Jeffrey Craver.
Like her other babies, Kirsten described Effie as “laid back,” and said Effie slept five hours straight when she was less than one week old.
Effie is gaining weight really well and is in great health, her mom said.
Although Kirsten has been receiving a lot of help from her mom, her biggest struggle has been trying to keep all of her children occupied. All three children — Effie, 19-month-old daughter Ainsley, and 4-year-old son Harrison — are all on totally different pages, Kirsten said, which means it’s a struggle trying to “keep all three doing something, keeping them entertained.”
Kirsten said Ainsley adores having the new baby around.
So much so, in fact, that Kirsten is trying to figure out how to teach her that she can’t try to suffocate Effie.
“I can’t leave her remotely alone,” she said.
Kirsten said she began preparing for the holidays much earlier than usual because she knew she would be too busy once Effie arrived. Now she says she’s glad she did, saying that any loose ends she didn’t finish before the baby came are just not going to get done.
