O’Brien, who supports the Sasaki plan, says the performing arts center proposed for University Avenue would give the School of Music its own venue for public performances. The center would include a 1,000-seat concert hall, a 300-seat recital hall and space for classes. “It really would be just an absolutely up-to-date, state-of-the-art venue,” O’Brien said.
