The second annual Think Safe: Love and Basketball tournament gave area teens ages 13-17 a chance to compete while learning about sexual health and smart life choices Aug. 7-8 at the Armory Sports Center.

Columbia Parks & Recreation, and six other area sponsors, hosted the event. Erin Carrillo, tournament organizer, said the tournament strives to give teens the opportunity to play teams they normally would not encounter from the area, incorporating both at-risk teens with the rest of the community. Listen to coach Ric Bush, player Ty Pickens and father Bobby Russell speak about their experiences.
