Second- and fifth-graders at Grant Elementary School leave classroom trailers at the end of the school day. The trailers are separate from the school’s main building, which poses problems for walking between classes. To deal with the school district’s overcrowding, about $22 million from the bond issue’s proceeds would go toward building a new high school, and $18.8 million will go toward building a new elementary school.
