Lottes returns to drumming despite arthritis

Keith Lottes practices his drums for a portrait in his storage unit at Storage Mart. Lottes has drummed since age 7, but had to stop for ten years when he developed rheumatoid arthritis. He now takes Rituxan, a drug used to treat his arthritis, which allows him to play the drums. Two months ago, Lottes started a band, "Downfall," and hopes to start playing in bars around Columbia by next year.
