Bluegill spawning

A female bluegill fish swims in a spawning tank maintained by the Missouri Aquaculture Association based at Lincoln University's Carver Farm. Male and female fish are separated in the tank while the environment is adjusted to simulate spring, the ideal time of year for bluegill to spawn.
