Families praise autism center

U.S. Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo., visited MU’s Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders on Wednesday, after he helped secure $750,000 in federal funds for the center’s expansion. Columbia resident Kennita Payne was also there for a check-up for her 10-month-old daughter, Cordarra Dudley, who had an acute stroke as a newborn. Payne talked about how the Thompson Center has helped her family.
