Gov. Nixon talks about budget reform at MU

Gov. Jay Nixon speaks Wednesday, April 7, at the Reynolds Alumni Center at MU. During the talk, Nixon detailed for budget reform in Missouri. The governor talked about ways the state could cut spending in the face of decreased available funds. "Our most pressing challenge is closing a $500 million budget gap, caused by lower-than-normal state revenue," he said.
