MAP: Proposed rezoning area

On April 5, the Columbia City Council tabled a proposed ordinance to rezone 25.29 acres for commercial use on the south side of Grindstone Parkway. The Columbia Planning and Zoning Commission voted against a recommendation to rezone the area, which is currently zoned as agricultural. The commission did not support adding a new traffic signal. The issue was revisited during Monday night’s City Council meeting.
