GRAPH: Fall allergies reach 10-year high

The ragweed-pollen count in St. Louis County has reached its highest level since 2000. During August and September, prime allergy months for ragweed-pollen, St. Louis County has already experienced 11 days where the pollen count was more than 100. St. Louis County is the closest area from which MU Health Care’s Emergency Medical Technician and Allergy Center gets its data. In 2005 and 2007, there were no days where the pollen count was more than 100.
