MU Quidditch team gets off the ground

The MU Quidditch team scrimmages every Wednesday and Sunday on the north end of Francis Quadrangle. The team was started earlier this year by MU sophomore Wendy Walden and is growing in popularity with every practice session. The game is relatively new worldwide, inspired by J. K. Rowling’s well-known "Harry Potter" book and movie series. It had to be adapted for Muggles, or non-magical humans, because in the series the game is played hundreds of feet in the air on flying brooms.
