Seventh-grader takes SAT
January 22, 2011 | 3:35 p.m. CSTFriday night, seventh-grader Kelsie Small sat in Anthony’s Italian Restaurant eating cheese sticks and studying for the SAT with her mom, Kimberly Small. As part of Duke University’s Talent Identification Program (TIP), Kelsie is one of thousands of seventh-graders across the nation who were given the opportunity to take the SAT or ACT a few years early.
