NEA Foundation award winner Kathy Steinhoff teaches geometry
February 12, 2011 | 6:07 p.m. CSTJefferson Junior High School teacher and NEA Member Benefits Award for Teaching Excellence winner Kathy Steinhoff teaches a geometry class on Sept. 17. Steinhoff was selected from five finalists to receive the NEA Member Benefits Award for Teaching Excellence along with $25,000. The award recognizes effective teaching skills and advocacy for the educational profession. Steinhoff won the award for her unique teaching style and the use of technology in her lessons.
