Former top recruit Sheldon Richardson cleared to practice

Coming out of high school at St. Louis’ Gateway Institute of Technology in the spring of 2009, Sheldon Richardson was ranked as the No. 1 defensive tackle nationally, but academic issues forced him to junior college at the College of the Sequoias in California. The NCAA cleared him to play for Missouri on Wednesday afternoon and he joined his teammates in practice Thursday morning.
