PHOTO: Binder encourages a family to touch an alpaca

Sandy Binder, owner of Mid Missouri Alpacas, encourages a family to pet a baby alpaca on the farm at the Fifth Annual Alpacas Owners and Breeders Association National Alpaca Farm Day on Saturday. Binder gave tours throughout the day, on which she explained the behavior of alpacas to the participants. Alpacas have notoriously soft hair, and the farm sells many alpaca fiber products in its store.
