CHART: State and local increase in free and reduced-price lunch enrollment, 2002 to 2011

The state of Missouri and the Columbia Public School District have seen an increase in free and reduced-price lunch enrollment during the last 10 years. Columbia’s free and reduced-price lunch enrollment decreased from 2006 to 2007, but has been increasing ever since. Currently, enrollment in Columbia is 38.9 percent, a record high. State enrollment has increased during the past decade and only decreased from 2005 to 2006. The current state enrollment is 47.8 percent, also a record high.
