MAP: Cigarette taxes by state

At 17 cents per pack, Missouri has the lowest cigarette tax in the nation by 13 cents. A bill proposed by Rep. Mary Still, D-Columbia, would increase that tax to 89 cents. According to the American Lung Association’s 2012 State of Tobacco Control report that gives states letter grades, Missouri received an F in the cigarette tax category.
