Tim Campbell collects water samples from one of the four treatment basin trains for further testing at the Columbia Regional Water Treatment Plant in McBaine on March 13. The city is looking at expanding the plant, which supplies all of the water to Columbia. The project will cost about $65 million if it is approved and will almost double the amount of water the city can treat each day.
