Hickman High School sophomore Kiona Hughes has been volunteering at Granny's House, a faith-based nonprofit organization, for five years. Last May, Kiona began making and selling bracelets to fund her mission trip to Jamaica. Once she got the $200 she needed for the trip, she continued with her bracelet business, giving a portion of her proceeds to an MU sorority to donate to charity.
Kiona Hughes, 16, takes a phone call and sets up a later appointment with C.A.R.E. Over the past 5 years, Kiona has taken on a lot of responsibilities helping out with younger kids at Granny's House.
