Councilman proposes using TIF funds to bury power lines

Power lines stand along Business Loop 70 near Range Line Street and College Avenue on Monday. City Councilman Fred Schmidt has proposed the use of tax-increment financing to fund a project to bury power lines such as the ones along this road.
