FROM READERS: The Rev. Housh Gordon called as new minister of Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia

The Rev. Molly Housh Gordon, 27, has been called as the next settled minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia. She will be the third settled minister in the congregation's 61-year history, and by far its youngest.

Rev. Housh Gordon, right, started her day on April 22 by meeting with the UU Forum Group, an adult discussion group that meets at 9 a.m. every Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia.

On April 26, Rev. Housh Gordon met for dinner at the church with representatives of the Congregational Caring Ministry, the Peace Building Team, the annual Fall Harvest Supper and the Down by the Riverside annual camp-out group of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia.
