Missouri edged Illinois State 2-1 on Sunday to win its fifth-straight regional championship.

Missouri softball has made winning the Columbia regional a routine occurrence, beating the Illinois State Redbirds 2-1 on Sunday at University Field to claim its fourth straight. The Tigers also won the regional the year before, although not in Columbia.
