Ridgeway student stands at site of new community garden before breaking ground

Sam Robinson, left, director of the Healthy Community Initiatives for PedNet Coalition, and his daughter Erin Robinson, 9, who is a student at Ridgeway Elementary School, stand with Adam Saunders of the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture on Tuesday morning at the site of the new Ridgeway Community Garden. Erin broke ground on the garden and then Saunders began the tilling process. The garden will be open to community members and serve as an outdoor classroom for both Ridgeway Elementary and Hickman High School.
