Venus seen against the sun
June 5, 2012 | 10:57 p.m. CDTVenus is seen from MU as a large dark spot on the upper right of the sun as it makes its way between the Earth and the sun Tuesday. The smaller dark dots are sunspots. The transit of Venus will not be seen again until 2117.
