Cancer survivors and their guests met at MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital Health Pavilion to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day. Kim Becking, breast cancer survivor, was the guest speaker at the event Tuesday evening.
Kathy Windmoeller attends the celebration of National Cancer Survivors’ Day Tuesday evening at MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital Health Pavilion. Windmoeller, 59, was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 1999 at the age of 46.

Robert Arnold attends the celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day on Tuesday evening at MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital Health Pavilion. Arnold, 74, was diagnosed with lung cancer and prostate cancer in 2007. The lung cancer was discovered after an X-ray test.

Brian Lami attends the celebration of National Cancer Survivors’ Day on Tuesday evening at MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital Health Pavilion. Lami, 29, was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 20 in 2003. He had two biopsy tests on his head during the treatment of the cancer.
