Images from Art in the Park, construction in the Thornbrook subdivision, the Missouri State Senior Games, the Chi Omega house and the transit of Venus were some of the best photos by Missourian staff last week.

Bob Patterson putts the ball at the 17th hole. Teams started at different holes throughout the course in the tournament held on Friday. Patterson was diagnosed with ascending paralysis (Guillain–Barre syndrome) in 2011. After six weeks of treatment in the hospital with physical therapy, he is now able to play sports again.
