Centro Latino hosts fundraiser to celebrate solstice, promote healthy eating

Eduardo Crespi, left, director of Centro Latino, cooks for a fundraiser held Thursday to promote healthy eating. Sean Coder, a volunteer who works for the organization through AmeriCorps, also helped in the kitchen. The meal centered around Latin American flavors and included vegan items such as rice, beans, pico de gallo and tamales. All the produce came from local gardens.
