Columbia residents and supporters of those suffering from Alzheimer's disease raise their purple pinwheel flowers in memory of their loved ones at the 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer's at Stephens Lake Park on Sunday. Each color of flower signifies how Alzheimer's has affected the person's life: blue for those suffering with the disease, yellow for caregivers, purple for those who have lost loved ones and orange for those supporting the cause.
