A person watches as Columbia firefighters get ready to flip a Midwest Block & Brick truck at the corner of East Stadium Boulevard and East Pointe Drive on Monday afternoon. Concrete blocks were scattered across the lawn of Auto-Owners Insurance Co. Gene Alexander, the driver, was on his way to Ross Landscaping, according to Patrick Dubbert, president and CEO of Midwest Block & Brick.
