Administrator strives for backyard self-sufficiency

Ann Korschgen, vice provost of enrollment at MU, and her 8-year-old labrador, Zoe, walk back toward her home after gathering fresh eggs and kale from her garden on Friday. Korschgen and her husband, Carl, have a five-acre farm on their property that includes a vegetable garden, honey bees and pine trees, in addition to their 16 chickens.
