House District 46 encompasses some of Columbia's oldest and newest neighborhoods. Democrat Stephen Webber and Republican Fred Berry are competing to represent the new House district.
The yet-to-be-crowned Rock Bridge High School Homecoming queen Morgan Bronby, center with flowers, laughs with the rest of the Homecoming court during the school’s football game against Liberty High School on Oct. 12. Twenty students, 10 boys and 10 girls, are a part of the court at the only high school in District 46.

Steve Batliner flies a dual-line stunt kite at the One Sky, One World Kite Flying Event on Oct. 14 at Cosmo-Bethel Park. The event was part of an international kite flying celebration that takes place annually on the second Sunday of October. Batliner said that there are usually between 10 and 20 kite flyers and up to 100 spectators, but this year's attendance was lower because of rain earlier in the day.

Paul's wife, Traci Scardina, is the vice president of Columbia's Mothers of Multiples Club. The Scardina family resides in the Mill Creek Manor subdivision off Old Mill Creek Road within District 46.
