World War II monument sits outside the Boone County Courthouse

A World War II monument sits outside the Boone County Courthouse on Oct. 22. A landscaping crew found the monument underground in early September during renovation of the Boone County Courthouse Plaza. The county has not yet decided any future plans for the monument.
