Theresa Brooks uses an electronic voting machine at Fairview United Methodist Church on Tuesday morning. Brooks said she had heard "some conflicting information" on whether the electronic voting machines were reliable, but she said the machine appeared to work.
Jerry Drummond, 69, exits the polls at Woodcrest Chapel on West Nifong Boulevard on Tuesday morning. Drummond is retired from the aerospace industry. "I've never voted a straight ticket," he said.
Ervin Gwin, a retired pool builder, fills out his paperwork before voting Tuesday at Paquin Tower. Gwin said the whole voting process went as "smooth" as the 2008 election.
