The Southern Boone County Public Library moved to a new location Wednesday in Ashland. The new location is needed for more space to meet the needs of the community, said Mitzi St. John, the public relations manager of the Daniel Boone Regional Library system

The new Southern Boone County Public Library building sits on Main Street in Ashland. The ribbon cutting for the new building is Saturday and the library will begin normal hours Monday.
