MAP: New subdivision development ends family tradition of Easley farm

Because of the encroaching development, Alan Easley has begun to sell portions of his 170-year-old family farm. Easley sold 21 acres of the 105-acre tract last spring. The land will be developed into a 67-lot subdivision called The Village at Bearfield.
