Tiger stripes decorate the walls, and new furniture was added in the living quarters at Fire Station No. 3. Renovation of the MU-owned station was recently completed and allowed for a re-organization of the facilities to provide better access for emergency vehicles and better living quarters for the firefighters.

Firefighters and members of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce tour the newly renovated Fire Station No. 3 after a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon. Engineers and designers from MU worked to create an engine bay that allows entry from both the front and back of the building. New housing and recreation areas were also added as the old living quarters were moved to allow for the new doors.
