Criss Clark waves a sign Thursday on Providence Road. "The key to being a good waver is connecting with the traffic. Eye contact, smiling, moving around a lot. Even if they flip you off, it means they're looking at you," Clark said. "I just usually give them a thumbs up."   |  Greg Kendall-Ball
