Columbia residents spent Friday shoveling sidewalks and digging out cars from parking lots in the aftermath of Thursday's snowstorm.
Dennis Harper plows the sidewalk with a plow attached to his riding lawn mower between Hitt and Tenth streets on Friday. "If we get the sidewalks clear, people will come in and start spending money" Harper said.
