Columbia residents spent Friday helping others and enjoying a day off in the aftermath of Thursday's snowstorm.
Greg Gibbs helps Jamie Harris jump-start her car at the Trowbridge commuter lot Friday morning. Harris' car was stuck on Stadium Boulevard on Thursday night and MU police moved her car to the lot. Her car battery died overnight since she left her hazard lights on for other cars to see it. Gibbs said that in the previous 24 hours he had helped six to seven people start their cars.
