Workers watch crane in attempt to lift pedestrian bridge

Workers watch as a crane is used in an attempt to lift the pedestrian overpass Friday near the J.W. "Blind" Boone Community Center on Providence Road. When workers realized the bridge was heavier than estimated, they waited for a new crane, then decided to delay the removal until Saturday morning.
