On Monday, Columbia prepared for a second snowstorm forecast to bring 6 to 10 inches of snow to the area.
Jennifer Hecht describes the snow shovels for sale at the Westlake ACE Hardware on West Worley Street while talking on the phone to her husband, Brian Hecht, who was at home researching snow shovels online. She said she was disappointed there were no child-sized shovels on sale because she had hoped to get her children to help out with the shoveling.

After selling out of snow shovels following last week's snowstorm, the store ordered about 1,600 shovels Monday. For the first few hours, the store sold one shovel per minute as word spread about their stock.
