PHOTO GALLERY: Mizzou Dance Marathon goes 13.1 hours

Along with MU students, community members from Columbia College, Stephens College, and area high schools took part in the Mizzou Dance Marathon on Saturday.
MU students dance Saturday with Margaret Romph, 9, who suffered from a spinal cord injury in a car accident. This year, Mizzou Dance marathon raised more than $100,000 for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the largest amount so far in the MU student-run organization's history.

Mizzou Dance Marathon participants jam to '90s music Saturday in the MU Student Recreation Complex. Participants danced for 13.1 hours starting at noon Saturday to "dance for the kids who can't." Organizers increased the time from the usual 12 hours to match the number of miles run in a half-marathon.
