Volunteers pick up cigarette butts

Volunteers picked up cigarette butts during Cleanup Columbia 2013 on Saturday morning. Follow-up actions will be organized at MU under the name of the Big Butt Recycle by the the Missouri Stream Team Association, Sustain Mizzou, River Relief and the Friends of Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge in preparation for MU becoming smoke-free on July 1. MU Sustainability Office and MU Campus Facilities - Landscape Service will help to coordinate the event.
